Applications

Our applications are diverse and cover many elements of the supply chain from mechanical automation projects requiring the integration of Warehouse Management Systems to asset tracking employing our own PC based software with client/server architecture, often integrated with RFID and Bar coding technology. Our expertise is extensively applied to systems within Warehouse Distribution Centres, but is equally applied to Airport baggage handling, cargo, and mining applications for example.

Automation components

DC also designs and manufactures the Simplicon control system based on a versatile range of intelligent electronic controllers. Simplicon controllers include embedded discrete logic, RFID and barcode readers, each with onboard processor and serial communications. Simplicon is ideal for systems requiring distributed intelligence throughout the plant, particularly the tracking and routing of products.
